System overview
The human flow measurement system utilized in this experiment is a system that takes into consideration privacy, does not use images by cameras etc., measures the human flow in the public space such as the city, and visualizes "heat map" in the public space. In human flow measurement, the number of people is automatically measured by analyzing the temperature change caused by infrared rays.
Heat map display can be displayed in real time. In addition, past heat map display is also possible by specifying past time zones.
By conducting human flow measurements at event venues and shopping districts where unspecified people go and return, it is possible to evaluate the event effect and analyze the flow of people in the shopping district with peace of mind and at low cost.

* In this system, iD Co., Ltd., having its head office in Hakodate, undertook development with the support of commercialization of the Kitakyushu Industrial Science Promotion Organization of the Public Interest Foundation.
